Biography

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Kevin is currently based out of Bangkok, Thailand where he has lived for just over two years. Being a first-generation Canadian, he grew up in a very Portuguese culturally oriented home. He started dancing when he was five, beginning with Portuguese folk dance and quickly learning to lead a partner around a dance floor. However, it wasn't until he was in high school that he fell in love with the art of acting. Over the past few years Kevin has been working professionally in the live and film entertainment industry.

In 2005, Kevin took time for worldly-learning and moved half-way around the world to a small rural area of Northern Thailand. Over a span of one year, Kevin helped develop and organize a language learning strategy that involved hosting English camps for schools.  In 2006, Kevin moved to Bangkok to pursue some performance projects. Since his arrival, he has worked contracted projects with THOMAS PINK and ANNA SUI products, and trained with dance and theatre professionals from Japan, Germany and Australia.

As a writer Kevin worked collaboratively with Canadian actors/writers Jon Stewart and Trish Lorenz to create and produce their four actors (thirty-two characters) hit GRUMPLESTOCK'S. Originally produced at Nextfest Arts Festival in Edmonton, Canada, the show is now published under NewWest as part of a festival anthology. He has also danced for choreographers Luis Gomes, Sara Bowes, and will soon perform with Asia's famous dance captain Para Isidoro.
